An AMAZING HIKE! Beautiful views. We hiked up it from the lake.

Unbelievable place to see, I just wonder what it looked liked at a flowing river not a stand still lake....

We traveled by boat with my Grandfather who's great grandfather, John Reo Larson, was one of two children born on this trail.

It was a miracle that my Grandfather's 2 daughters and 4 out of 5 grandkids were able to be here with him.

A remote location with a unique history. Not crowded and fun exploring experience.

An incredible feat for pioneers who felt driven to follow a prophet and open a way to San Juan county from Escalante. It is a long bumpy road but worth the drive to see this amazing solution to getting wagons down and across the Colorado river.
